ChatGPT Plugins List & Info - How to Use

Plugins and Web Browsing are currently rolling out for ChatGPT Plus subscribers. 

Web Browsing enhances ChatGPT, giving it the ability to browse and read the web to gather up to date information.

Plugins are an innovative feature that significantly enhances the capabilities of ChatGPT. These plugins are essentially third-party applications that integrate with ChatGPT to provide a wide array of services and functionalities, ranging from browsing webpages, generating articles, finding job openings, to automating workflows. Plugins are not controlled by OpenAI. This means that users should trust a plugin before installing it. When a plugin is enabled, parts of the user's conversation and their location (country or state) may be sent to the plugin to enhance the conversation.

Users have the option to manually activate plugins. This can be done by clicking on Settings in the bottom left of the ChatGPT interface to enable Beta Features.

The option to select a plugin will then be available at the top of the ChatGPT interface.

Several plugins can be active at once. ChatGPT should figure out when to use them during chats. Some plugins are triggered by their name, certain keywords, or /slash commands, like /help . For more information on specific plugins, you can visit their respective websites, linked below.

Zapier ChatGPT Plugin

The Zapier ChatGPT plugin allows you to connect over 5,000 apps (like Google Sheets, Gmail, or Slack) and interact with them directly inside ChatGPT. You can automate tasks from within ChatGPT's interface, saving you time and the hassle of context switching. The plugin is powered by Zapier's new Natural Language Actions API, which enables AI models like ChatGPT to use simple natural language to complete actions in other apps. edX ChatGPT Plugin

The edX ChatGPT plugin enables users to discover educational programs across edX’s library of 4,200 courses, as well as access in-depth learning resources on select advanced topics. As users engage with ChatGPT on topics that interest them, the plugin will instantaneously provide course recommendations, content, videos, and quizzes, with direct links to access edX.org courses. Also, edX Xpert, an AI-powered learning assistant on the edX platform, provides learners with real-time, personalized academic and customer support as they engage in online coursework.

Wolfram ChatGPT Plugin

The Wolfram plugin enhances ChatGPT by giving it access to powerful computation, accurate math, curated knowledge, real-time data, and visualization through Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language.
